  5.    WILDCAT! allows easy marking of files for download by selecting a number
  6.    instead of having to remember the entire file name and then typing it all
  7.    out later.  After selecting this command, you're presented with the
  8.    following sub-prompt.

  10.          Mark File Command [#, #-#], [A]ll, [E]dit/View, [H]elp?

  12.    Below is a list of the available options.

  14.      [#, #-#]    - File numbers, or a range of numbers to mark for download
  15.      [A]ll       - Mark all the files displayed on screen for download
  16.      [E]dit/View - Edit/Display download queue of previously marked files
  17.      [H]elp      - Display this Help screen

  27.    After files have been listed to the screen, you can mark specific ones
  28.    for download using this command.  This function allows you to enter in the
  29.    number enclosed in brackets [ ] to the far left of the file name.  This
  30.    saves you the headache of trying to remember the exact spelling of each
  31.    file you wish to download.
  32.  
  33.    Marked file names are stored in a temporary buffer, and may be viewed and
  34.    modified as your listing continues.  Since this is a temporary queue, if
  35.    you choose not to download the marked files, when you logoff the system,
  36.    the download queue will be automatically cleared.

  38.    The mark prompt appears as follows:

  40.          Mark File Command [#, #-#], [A]ll, [E]dit/View, [H]elp?
  41.  
  42.    Files may be marked individually or in groups by number.  Each screen full
  43.    of files is numbered from 1 to the maximum number which will fit on a
  44.    single screen display.  Files can be marked individually, in groups or any
  45.    combination thereof.  To mark files numbered 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10, you
  46.    would enter the command [2 4-8 10].

  48.    If for some reason you attempt to mark a file that is already in the marked
  49.    list, you will be informed so and then allowed to continue.  You will not
  50.    be able to have duplicate file names in the marked list at the same time.
  51.    Below is a brief description of the available options.

  53.        [A]ll -
  54.             This will mark all the files displayed on the screen for download.
  55.             If the number of daily downloads set by the SysOp is exceeded,
  56.             only those selected prior to the maximum will be marked for
  57.             download.  In other words, if the maximum downloads per day is
  58.             set to 5 and you select 7 with this command, only the first 5 will
  59.             be allowed and you will be notified for the remainder of the
  60.             selected files that you have exceeded your maximum daily limit.

  62.        [E]dit/View -
  63.             Selecting this option presents a display of the files that have
  64.             already been previously marked.  These are listed by number
  65.             showing the file size and approximate transfer time for each file.
  66.             Additionally, there is total transfer time and kilobytes for all
  67.             the files in the queue.  This is handy in getting a good idea how
  68.             long the total transfer will be.  Below is a sample display.

  84.             Below is a description of the available options.
  85.  
  86.             [R]emove item -
  87.                 This option will allow you to remove a single file from the
  88.                 marked list.  This would normally be used if you found a more
  89.                 current version of a file or simply don't wish to download it.
  90.  
  91.             [C]lear list -
  92.                 This will clear the entire list of file names that have been
  93.                 previously marked for download.
  94.  
  95.             [A]dd file -
  96.                 This option allows you to manually type in a file name to add
  97.                 to the download queue.

  99.             [Q]uit edit -
  100.                 This will exit the edit mode and return you to the file
  101.                 listing.

  103.        [H]elp -
  104.             Displays this Help screen.

  106.    Should you encounter difficulties in downloading, those files that have
  107.    not been successfully downloaded, will remain in the list for a later
  108.    download attempt.
